Meet the Team
We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I joined Dr. Cooper’s team in 1991, though my experience in the medical field began in 1984. I have a lot of knowledge and training in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and insurance, which patients really appreciate. It is my goal to make the financial end of their dental care as easy and stress free as possible. I love to see patients walk out smiling with the awesome dental treatment provided by Dr. Cooper and our dental staff.
I have been married for 27 years. Our son serves in United States Navy and he has a lovely wife. Our daughter is attending college for a degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm enjoying watching her mature into a young lady. I love spending time with my family. We go hunting, fishing, and spend time on the water in our boat. My hobbies include going to Texas Country Concerts, music/dancing, refinishing old furniture, and cross stitching.
Certified/Registered Dental Assistant
I love dentistry! Being a dental assistant is not just my “job”; it's my profession. Helping patients improve their dental health and appearance and seeing them happy makes me happy. My career in dentistry began in 1978. I graduated from Rochester Technical College in Rochester, MN. Since then I have worked in both orthodontics and general dentistry. Each member of our team has a unique talent and personality. We value each other and work together to help each patient improve and maintain their dental health. I also enjoyed my time traveling with the Red Cross Blood Mobile as phlebotomist for 3 years in the upper midwest.
My husband and I enjoy camping, bird watching, and our two Ragdoll cats, Koko and Pongo. We like to travel and plan to do more in the future, especially since our children live in other states. I also help my husband with his hardwood flooring business, which has been his occupation for over 30 years.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I hold an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. The past 20 years have found me working as front office and office manager for a pediatric dental office and now as a dental hygienist for Dr. Cooper. My experience allows me to work with patients to improve their oral health, as well as help out at the front office with clerical duties when necessary. Whatever I’m doing, I love that I get to spend time with and build relationships with so many wonderful people. Our patients are all so unique, and I enjoy learning all about them!
I enjoy sewing, photography, reading, shooting darts and guns, working in yard, horseback riding, walking/running for exercise, and spending time with family. I also volunteer my time in the community and with professional organizations. I belong to the Texas Chapter Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Organization and served as the president of the Student Dental Hygienists Association.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I attended Texas Tech University for 3 years & from there I was accepted to Baylor College of Dentistry/ Caruth School of Dental Hygiene and graduated with a B.S. degree in dental hygiene. I have worked in dentistry for 40 years (yikes!) and have loved the past ten years I’ve been with Dr. Cooper and my coworkers. We support each other and are truly are an awesome team! I love the relationships I have developed with my patients while helping them achieve good oral hygiene and healthy mouths. Each person is so special to me, and their smiles brighten my days.
I was married for over 24 years and am now a widow. I love animals and have two standard poodles and one cute little rescue mix. I love to run and lap swim, which naturally led me to compete in triathlons, duathlons, half marathons, and full marathons. I’ve completed five so far!
